Sus Inima (“Keep Your Heart Up”) is a Romanian NGO founded in 2015 in Sibiu, with one simple mission at its core: to make sure that no one faces cancer alone.
Asociația Sus Inima supports people affected directly or indirectly by cancer through free accommodation, psychological support, navigation through the medical system, second opinions, workshops, awareness and prevention campaigns, sport, and community-based initiatives.
At our Oncological Support Centers and Sus Inima Houses, people can find not only practical help, but also human connection, warmth, and a place where they feel supported during difficult moments.
We support people through every stage of the journey.
Through our Sus Inima Houses, we provide free accommodation during treatment, safe spaces, fundraising support for treatments and emotional support for patients and their families.
Through our Sus Inima Oncological Support Centers we offer psychological support, oncology navigation, second opinions, social assistance, workshops, kinetotherapy in water, and practical guidance throughout the cancer journey.
We organise campaigns, events, and educational initiatives that encourage prevention, early detection, and open conversations about cancer.
